  12. BACKGROUND 
  13.  
  14. After getting the Amiga Designer mouse, I found that the pointer
  15. would wobble occasionally when the mouse was still.  As trivial
  16. as it sounds, it interfered with scrolling, with "MouseBlanker" 
  17. and "Blanker".
  18.  
  19. I called up the retailer, and they sent me another, thinking it was
  20. a defective mouse.  The second mouse exhibited the same behaviour, though
  21. my original A-4000 mouse did not, so that eliminated the likelihood of a
  22. CIA failure.
  23.  
  24. So Twitchy Mouse was born.  Essentially, it "smoothes" out the mouse input,
  25. so that the twitches essentially disappear, and removes those input events
  26. that would cause the mouse to move.   
  27.  
  28. Twitchy Mouse is a commodity, and all is done in a system friendly way 
  29. through the Commodity system.

  31. This is not a hack, no system code is replaced/kludged/patched.

  33. USAGE
  34.  
  35. Drop TM's icon in the WBStartup drawer.  It supports 1 Tooltype, CX_Priority.
  36. CX_Priority should be higher than any other commodity that effects or 
  37. monitors the mouse, such as MouseBlanker or and screen blanker.
  38.  
  39. Using Exchange, you can have TM open a window that flashes when twitches
  40. are detected.
  41.  
  42. The source is included, primarily so that it may be proofed, but anyone is 
  43. free to use it as they se fit.
